The Getinge Group is a medical technical company active within the areas of surgery, intensive care, infection control and care ergonomics. The Group comprises three business areas: Medical Systems (systems for surgery and intensive care), Infection Control (system equipment for disinfection and sterilization) and Extended Care (care ergonomics). The Group currently maintains leading positions within the majority of the company’s product lines.
Medical Systems
The business area offers complete systems for Surgical Workplaces, Cardiovascular and Critical Care. These systems create rationalized, efficient and ergonomically sound working environments for different types of medical procedures. The products are marketed under the joint brand MAQUET and are represented in more than 100 markets.

Extended Care
The business area offers systems, products and various types of services for improved work environments that markedly decrease the frequency of strain injuries among personnel, which in turn reduces costs. The product range comprises patient lifters, hygiene systems, medical beds, wound-treatment and decubitus-prevention products, as well as diagnostic products, such as dopplers and equipment for foetal monitoring. Hospitals comprise the most important customer category. The products are marketed under the joint brand ArjoHuntleigh.

Getinge Infection Control is one of the world’s leading providers of autoclaves, washer disinfectors and flusher disinfectors for hospitals and homes for the elderly, the pharmaceuticals industry and laboratories.The business area offers complete solutions for efficient cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation within the areas of preventive care, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. Competency includes everything from architectural planning, production and materials handling, to complete solutions for traceability of sterile goods, as well as advice, training and technical support. The products are marked under the Getinge and Lancer brands.
