Current events in the business area

In 2011, Extended Care is focusing on the following:

  • In 2010, the business area’s profitability returned to a favourable level. In 2011, the focus will be on measures to ensure strong organic growth, including product innovation and expanding into new geographic markets
  • Continued enhancement of the business area’s supply chain efficiency to strengthen competitiveness.

Following the merger of Arjo and Huntleigh and the subsequent structural market, production and logistical improvements, the operation was in considerable need of stabilisation. Actions to ensure this were implemented in 2010 and the business area entered 2011 with a stable growth platform.
